BEST BAND OF 2012? NASHVILLE CELEBRATES AT THE PARTHENON October 11 2012, 1 Comment

Did you know Nashville TN has it's very own Parthenon? That's right, and it's an exact replica of the one in Greece, except it's in perfect condition! Great place to have a party. And last night saw all of Nashville turning out for the 2012 Best Of Nashville gala. Having already won Best Record Label (ahem!), we kinda know what to expect at these things, but this was the best and biggest yet. And we were there to celebrate 2012's Best Band. And you know who that is. Here's what the Scene had to say about the Bogus Bros: "BEST BAND: JEFF THE BROTHERHOOD
We had a feeling 2012 would be the year these brothers from the same mother took the world by (castle) storm, and we pretty much nailed it. Consider the evidence: Their major-label debut Hypnotic Nights, co-produced with The Black Keys' Dan Auerbach, climbed all the way to No. 1 on the CMJ album chart. The Nashville Metro Council passed a resolution to honor the 10-year anniversary of their record label. (Infinity Cat Day was July 20, in case you missed it.) They crisscrossed North America and Europe yet again on tour. Internet traffic-jammers BuzzFeed posted a video of them shotgunning beers in honor of their summery good-times single "Sixpack," because why not? Jake wore a dress when the band played Letterman. We could go on ... all of this to say JTB had a hell of a year just rocking extra hard and being themselves, two areas in which they happen to excel" -Steve Haruch

D. BOONE WANTS "TINA" SHIRT, BUT WE ONLY HAVE SIZE L September 04 2012, 0 Comments

You know D. Boone loves his Infinity Cat Artisan Toddler T. But he seems pretty enamored by the classic Tina T- Heavy Cream's most popular! But we've only got them in size L. (L stands for Large, not Looks-Good-On-You, but we're sure it will). And we have less than 10, so if you want one, do it now. If you're too late, we'll let you know and hit you with a refund. But take it from us, a shirt is better than a refund! Take it from D. Boone. Literally. BTW, he wants you to follow him on Instagram: @dboone_infinitycat

NASHVILLE SCENE: "CAT SKILLS" July 15 2012, 4 Comments

Infinity Cat graces the over of the Nashville Scene this week, with a story by Steve Haruch that nails the vibe and spirit that runs through this little house we call home, and serves up a great historical timeline. And just in time for our tenth birthday net week. We can't wait for you to read it right HERE!

INFINITY CAT NAMED NASHVILLE'S BEST RECORD LABEL October 08 2010, 6 Comments

This is pretty sweet. We're feeling good. Nashville is our home, and there's nothing like hometown love! From this weeks annual "Best Of Nashville" edition of the Nashville Scene: "There's a good case to be made for Third Man Records in this category, but since TMR has Jack White's immense celebrity to help propel its catalog of peach-scented Karen Elson LPs, Conan O'Brien singles and Triple Decker Records, we're giving this one to the scrappy I-Cat (by a moustache hair, in a photo finish), for building a cult following around its flagship band (and label execs), JEFF the Brotherhood, bringing Nashville's riff-punk underground to a national audience and, in the process, incubating some of our best raw local talent — like Daniel Pujol, for instance, who just released a Jack White-produced 7-inch on Third Man." Pick up Daniel's Third Man releases HERE, his split cassette with the little bear HERE, and visit Infinity Cat's store for new Natural Child, Heavy Cream, and JEFF The Brotherhood releases. Woo-hoo!
