  • "Laughing," the new 7" from Ed Schrader's Music Beat, is OUT NOW. We pulled out all the stops for this single. It's limited to 300, but we're only selling 200 online and at the Visitor's Center. (You can snag one of the other 100 on tour!) The vinyl is THICK and the covers are hand silk-screened by our v own Sabrina and Justine. The b-side is previously unreleased and totally danceable. AND to celebrate, for the whole month of August you can snag the mp3 of "Laughing" for only $0.69 on Amazon. Yeah dudes, we mean business.
  • Tickets are NOW ON SALE for JEFF's fall tour. If you've been snoozin under a rock for the past week, you may be stoked to find out that this tour includes dates with Music Band, dates with Diarrhea Planet, and a three-night homecoming run at The End in October. hoLY SHIT WE ARE SO EXCITED.   • JTB's also putting out a super special purple 12" of 6 dope covers by "alternative" bands like The Pixies, Colleen Green, Teenage Fanclub, and more. Dig the Classics drops September 30th, stay tuned for preorder info.
  • Also coming out in September: Music Band's FIRST EVER vinyl release. "I Was Like" b/w "Everything Wants A Piece of Me" comes out 9/9, just before their tour dates with JTB. We'll hit you with some new tracks soon, but just know that we freaked out over how good these songs are. Seriously.

  • Ya gurl Wrenne teamed up with Impose Magazine once again, this time to bring you sick pics of Diarrhea Planet, Music Band, and Blank Range from their Red Bull Sound Select show at Exit/In. DP's calling this one "THE CREATION OF SHRED." There's more where that came from bby, right over here.
  • This week, we stumbled on one of the most thoughtful reviews we've read in a long time... and then Google Translate tried to TOTALLY RUIN IT with its crazy mis-translations like "published under the banner of cats with a halo infinity" and "they share the demos like a Chinaman rubber boots at the time of the storm."   • be your own PET made NME's list of 46 Quality Indie Bands Of The 2000s You Completely Forgot About. They said "if you were a teenage girl in the mid-2000s, chances are you probably wanted to be Jemina Pearl." PSSSH. WE STILL WANNA BE JEMINA.
